About Us


AGA serves government accountability professionals by providing quality education, fostering professional development and certification, and supporting standards and research to advance government accountability.


Another exciting year for the Central Ohio AGA is underway.   Our Chapter Executive Committee (CEC) is hard at work planning for the upcoming months.  Central Ohio AGA is lucky to have such dedicated volunteers who continue to improve our program year after year.


Please remember we are always looking for new faces and ideas - consider volunteering throughout the year by participating in a sub-committee or accepting a future CEC role.  This is your opportunity to have a voice in our educational and program events as well as promote the accounting profession.  Feel free to contact a CEC member to express your interest in volunteering during the upcoming year.

Volunteering Events


1.  Looking for a way to give back to the local community?  Please consider participating in an evening of fun with residents of First Community Village.  Volunteers are needed to organize and assist residents for a night of card playing.


Date/Time:  Tuesday, December 6th at 6:15PM

Location:  First Community Village, 1800 Riverside Dr., Columbus, OH 43212


A casual networking dinner will be provided by AGA, starting at 5:00PM off-site for the volunteers.


2.  Volunteers are needed to serve breakfast at the Faith Mission


Date/Time:  Saturday, December 10th from 8:00AM-10:15AM

Location:  Faith Mission, 151 N. 6th Street, Columbus, Ohio  43215


At the conclusion of the event, AGA will provide a networking brunch for the volunteers at a local restaurant.  Limited slots are available, so please RSVP as soon as possible. 


AGE REQUIREMENT: 16 years of age and older are welcome.
