membershipWhy Central Ohio AGA?
The Central Ohio AGA Chapter puts you in contact with other government accountability professionals in your area. Through our chapter, you'll get the chance to participate in social events, business meetings and educational seminars with other professionals who understand your concerns. In addition, your AGA membership means you're part of a tremendous nationwide network.
A significant component of our Central Ohio chapter is the educational program and the value it brings to our membership. Because we keep operational costs low and through the profit from our Regional Professional Development Conference, the Central Ohio Chapter is able to give back to its membership.
In fiscal year 2006, the Central Ohio Chapter event schedule provided 54 hours of CPE, 30 of which were FREE to members of AGA. This meant that an AGA member could attend the entire annual program for a total cost of $425 (this includes $330 for annual PDC registration; $90.00 National dues and $5.00 Chapter dues). 54 hours of CPE at an annual cost of $425.00 equates to only $7.87 per hour of CPE!
If you asked a member which of the benefits they value the most, they probably would say education and networking, which often occur at the same time and place. Here are some of our members’ favorites: Committee Involvement and Awards/Scholarships |
