2008 Scholarship Award Winners

 

$1,000 Elsa Giammarco Memorial Scholarship

 

Jaclyn Eads – Jaclyn is a junior at the Ohio State University.  She has a 3.94 GPA in the honors accounting program.  She plans to graduate in 2010 with a Masters degree in Accounting and has already been hired by Pricewaterhousecoopers for a position beginning in the fall of 2010.

 

$750 Chapter Scholarships

 

Colleen Hurley – Colleen is a junior at the Ohio State University majoring in Accounting.  She has a 3.705 GPA in the honors program.  She would like to work in the auditing or corporate accounting field.

 

Denise Morrison – Denise is a senior at OSU.  She has a 3.69 GPA in the accounting program.  She was one of 75 named by the Fisher College of Business as “Celebrating Promise in Accounting”.  She received this honor two years in a row.

   

$500 Chapter Scholarships

 

Nathan Coe – Nathan is a senior at OSU majoring in Accounting and Finance.  He would like to work in the public accounting field upon graduation.

 

Yuk Ting Tsang – Yuk is a senior at OSU majoring in accounting.  She would like to work in the public accounting field upon graduation.

 

Ginger Barnett – Ginger is a junior at OSU majoring in accounting.  Upon receiving her undergraduate degree she would like to pursue a MBA.

 

Karli Goodwin – Karli is a junior at OSU.  She has a 3.9 GPA in the accounting program.  She would like to eventually start a non-profit assisting cancer survivors or prematurely born babies.
